Foreign tax relief

The Nicaragua tax system does not recognise any form of foreign tax credit.

Tax treaties

Although Nicaragua has not signed any agreement or treaty with any country to avoid double taxation on a general basis; in December 2022, an Air Transport Agreement signed between Mexico and Nicaragua contained rules to avoid double taxation on such matter.
