Medical tax credit

A medical tax credit is available to individual taxpayers who are residents during the tax year. This credit applies to approved medical expenses, including medical insurance premiums and other qualified medical care costs, paid by the taxpayer or on behalf of their resident dependants, provided the dependants do not also claim the credit.
